‘WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY SESSION WITH CAPTURED BY BELL?’

From the moment you arrive the experience will be tailored to the individual. Usually starting the session with a chat about what your goals are for our time together and my ideas of how to best achieve them. From there we will move through each set up and look allowing you to view all the images as we go, I strongly believe in collaboration between the photographer and the client. This ensures that you walk away feeling totally satisfied and confident with what’s captured. To finish, we will then go through every image, narrowing them down to a broad selection. from there you will select 2 images from each look to edit Once you go home and can look at them with fresh Perspective.


‘WHAT’S THE TURN AROUND TIME AFTER THE SHOOT UNTIL I HAVE THE FINAL IMAGES?’

I will have the images to you within 14 days of Receiving selects. once finished i send the edited images to you via a dropbox link.


 

‘DO YOU HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?’

Yes, I do. Although I understand life can be uncertain and throw unexpected curve balls you must provide at least 5 days notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your shoot. If it is less than the given timeframe a 50% charge will be incurred. If it is a same day cancellation or ‘no show’ a 100% charge will be incurred. In saying this, I will always try to be as understanding and accommodating as possible so please reach out with any concerns/questions.

 

‘CAN I SHARE THE IMAGES TO SOCAIL MEDIA?’

Yes Absolutely- nothing makes me happier than when clients want to post and share their images with others.

please be mindful to Only post edited versions of images to socials. A lot of time and effort goes into getting you the best finished product possible and so that is what we want to show. this is not only to Represent yourself in the best light but also the photographers work.

 

‘HOW DO I BOOK?’

‘I HAVE NEVER DONE A PHOTOSHOOT BEFORE… CAN I STILL BOOK?’

Absolutely! As mentioned, my sessions are tailored to the needs of each individual, meaning they are perfect for any level of experience. I am super passionate about working with those who are just starting out and helping them find their feet infront of the camera!


 

‘ARE THERE HAIR AND MAKEUP PACKAGES AVAILABLE?’

Yes! Hair and makeup add ons can be arranged upon request! I have a variety of freelance artists that usually work with, check out more details here. Their fees vary depending on the individuals rates and they are subject to availability. When filling in you session enquiry form just mention you are interested in the hair and makeup add on and we can look at options for you desired date. If you are doing your own hair and makeup there is a place for you to do that onsite or you can just do it prior to arriving, whatever you prefer!

 

‘CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER TO THE SHOOT WITH ME?’

The short Answer is yes! i am happy for you to do Whatever you need to make you feel more comfortable. the only thing i care about is you feeling confident and the best version of yourself when you step in front of the camera. But keep in mind Sometimes Having someone watching can add extra pressure to an already uneasy situation. so really ask Yourself whether this person will be providing support or more of a distraction.

 

‘DO YOUR PRICES INCLUDE GST?’

no Unfortunately they do not. GST will be added to your invoice Upon booking. the amount follows the Government standards and is calculated at 10% of the session price.

‘WHERE IS YOUR STUDIO LOCATED?’

I work out of a studio in Artarmon, Sydney.


 

‘WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING TO MY SESSION?’

Please make sure you arrive to your session with clean washed hair and fresh faced (unless you are doing your own makeup prior). Your photoshoot checklist should include:

  • At least 3 outfit options.

  • A touch up makeup kit and hairbrush.

  • Example headshots to refer to for inspiration.

  • Your full hair & makeup kit should you wish to do it onsite.

For the ‘The Essentials Pack’ I recommend bringing 2-3 different outfit options and for ‘The Ultimate Pack’ I recommend brining 4-5 different options. This is just incase you’re not happy with the way some come up on camera, that way you are prepared for anything!



 

‘CAN I PURCHASE ADDITIONAL EDITED PHOTOS OTHER THAN THE 2 INCLUDED IN MY PACKAGE?’

Definitely! There is always the option to add additional images on the day. Any extra add ons are $50 an image.

 

‘WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND FOR OUTFITS?’

Choose clothes that make you feel like the best version of yourself and are not too distracting in patterns/colours. It is important that your face is the Focus of the image- not your T-shirt!

In saying that, When choosing what to wear, try and Include a hint of your individual style so we get to see more who you are. maybe do so Through a jacket or Favourite top? it’s good to bring a variety of light, dark and colourful options so you are covered in any Situation. if in doubt just bring it all- better to have too much than not enough.

 

‘What about shoes- do i need to worry about bringing options?’

This One is totally up to you- Occasionally they will be seen in the frame so its good to Bring at least one pair that you feel happy showing off. However, choice in Footwear is mostly about how it makes you feel. I’m all About fully Emerging Yourself in the Experience/character- so if certain shoes make you feel more in the zone it’s Definitely worth thinking about.
